Yavapai County Ranch Rodeo 2026

Come join us on August 7th-9th as working ranch cowboys and cowgirls show off their real-world skills in this Working Ranch Cowboys Association Ranch Rodeo!

 Events include:

• Team Sorting: Pick out 5 steers from the herd in numerical order, fastest time wins

• Wild Cow Milking: Catch the cow and get milk in a bottle, then run to the judge's circle

• Team Branding: a timed event where teams of cowboys compete to brand calves

• Stray Gathering: Rope and tie two steers, fastest time wins

The WRCA Ranch Rodeo isn’t just about competition – it’s about preserving the ranching heritage, supporting rural communities, and honoring the working cowboy way of life. Join us in welcoming the Yavapai County WRCA teams to Prescott!
