The Silver State Stampede Association is gearing up for the 2024 rodeo. We look forward to seeing you there. Let’s make this year, our 112th Anniversary, the greatest year yet!
The Silver State Stampede is a PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) sanctioned sporting event and is a non-profit organization made up of all volunteers making this great event happen for our Elko Community.
SCHEDULE:
Thursday July 11th, Slack performance at 9:00 a.m. Free to the public. Stampede Kick Off Concert featuring Eli Young Band! Go to www.stampedeconcert.com to get your tickets!
Friday and Saturday gates open at 4:00 p.m. with Mutton Busting and Mini-Bulls at 5:30 p.m. and PRCA Rodeo at 7:00 p.m. Following the rodeo both nights will be a dance featuring live music!
Sunday gates open at 3:00 p.m. with Mutton Busting and Mini-Bulls at 3:30 p.m. and PRCA Rodeo at 5:00 p.m.
All to be taken place at the Elko County Fairgrounds, Elko NV 89801

Worst rodeo I’ve ever been to. No ushers to assist in seating. Aisle entrances blocked by people stopping to talk. People setting up their own chairs in the main walkway. Well overcrowded conditions. If there was a fire, there would be fatalities. Poorly run run events. Too much time setting up between riders. Sound system too loud. Long lines blocking movement to all con sessions and vendors. Too many tickets sold for the amount of space available. Will never go back.
