Eagle Rodeo

The Eagle Rodeo has been part of Eagle, Idaho since 2001. It originally started as part of Eagle Fun Days, held by the Eagle Chamber of Commerce, as an annual celebration of summer. In 2011, Eagle Rodeo became its own entity. The Eagle Rodeo was considered an ICA (Idaho Cowboys Association) rodeo, where it grew and prospered within the guidelines of ICA regulations. 

In 2016, the Eagle Rodeo was admitted into the ranks of the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association). The PRCA is the highest paying American rodeo organization in the world. Growing every year, the Eagle Rodeo has been a PRCA sanctioned event ever since, meaning riders can compete to advance to the Circuit Finals Rodeo and eventually the NFR (National Finals Rodeo).

In 2018, Eagle Rodeo outgrew its location in downtown Eagle and decided to move to a new location. Hanover Entertainment produced a documentary showcasing Eagle Rodeo and what it takes to manage, and move, a professional rodeo.
