How to Point Your Custom Domain to Your Free Website on Rodeo Ticket

After you’ve built and published your website with our free website builder, you need to create your domain.

From your Organization’s sidebar, select “Website”, then “Domains”.

On the table, you’ll see your website names. If the table is empty, you need to publish your website.

In the same row as your website, select the link icon in the “Domain/Subdomain” column.

Custom Subdomain through Rodeo Ticket

If you’re using a subdomain, create your subdomain under the “Use a custom subdomain through Rodeo Ticket” heading. You just need to specify and save your subdomain.

Custom Domain

If you’re using a custom domain, follow the steps below:

1. Under the “Use a custom domain” section, add your domain and click “Start Validation”.
2. Next, you’ll see two keys that you need to enter into your DNS records.
3. Sign into your GoDaddy account and navigate to your DNS records.
4. Copy and paste the two keys that appear in the modal (CNAME and TXT).
5. Save new records.
6. Click “Validate Domain”.
7. Click “Issue Certificate”.
8. Click “Upload Certificate”.
9. Click “Finish Custom Domain”.
10. Enter one last key:

    1. Type: CNAME

       Name: www

       Value: resert-sites-load-balancer-1050827222.us-west-2.elb.amazonaws.com

11. Save new record.
