Battle of the Bull Hands

The Battle of the Bull Hands is a one-of-a-kind event showcasing the essential roles of rodeo’s “Bull Hands.” This event features a 40-head bull riding, along with a protection match where five two-man teams will compete to demonstrate their skills in protecting the bull rider after he’s bucked off. The event also includes freestyle bullfights, in which a bullfighter faces off against a full-blooded Spanish fighting bull for a mandatory 40 seconds, with an optional 20-seconds to perform a “buzzer-beater” stunt for extra points.
