South Carolina Rodeos

Whether you’re coming for excellent food, Myrtle Beach, or to see historic landmarks, you’ll enjoy your trip to South Carolina. If you’re a rodeo fan, you can even see a rodeo performance.

South Congaree Rodeo

Twice a year you can see rodeo events in West Columbia. In July, you can enjoy a range of rodeo performances at the South Congaree Rodeo. In March, you can enjoy a Bull Bash with only bull riding performances.

Moncks Corner Pro Rodeo

The Moncks Corner Pro Rodeo is held every October. It’s an IPRA-sanctioned rodeo. The International Professional Rodeo Association supports rodeo sports throughout the world. 

In addition to impressive rodeo performances, you’ll also meet Miss Moncks Corner Pro Rodeo. Every year, Moncks Corner Pro Rodeo hosts  a pageant. The winner represents Moncks Corner Pro Rodeo and gets to compete in Miss Rodeo USA and Miss Teen Rodeo USA.

Blythewood Championship Rodeo

The Blythewood Championship Rodeo is also sanctioned by the IPRA. You’ll see bull riding, bronc riding, timed roping, barrel racing, and breakaway roping. You can also enjoy food, mechanical bull rides, bouncy houses, live music, and Western shopping.

The Blythewood Championship Rodeo hosts two rodeos each year: The Blythewood DOKO Championship Rodeo in the Spring and the Blythewood Fall Classic Rodeo.

Pro Rodeo Spartanburg

At the Piedmont Interstate Fairgrounds, you can see Pro Rodeo Spartanburg in August. It is also an IPRA-sanctioned rodeo. You’ll enjoy stunning rodeo performances, local food trucks, a cowboy mercantile, and a mechanical bull.

South Carolina Rodeo Associations

Several rodeo associations in South Carolina support rodeo sports for youth in the state, including the South Carolina High School Rodeo Association (SCHSRA), Foothills Youth Rodeo Association (FYRA), and SC Rodeo Association - Youth.
