A CALCUTTA for the TOP TEN teams will be during the
RRR Cowboy Challenge / BBQ Wednesday May 13, 2026
Team Roping will be held in conjunction with RRR Chamber of Commerce Mixer.
All contestants will be required to participate by wearing a bandana, the color of appropriate chamber
QUALIFICATIONS
Open to residents of Alameda or Contra Costa Counties, and Invitation.
ENTRY PROCEDURE
1. Entries limited to the first 50 teams to enter.
2. Entry forms and entry fees must be submitted online through
RodeoTicket.com
no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 10, 2025.
3. Entry fee: $160.00 per mancontestant.
$500.00 added money.
$15.00 stock and office charge and $40.00 for a BBQ ticket will be withheld.
All entries and payments must be made through RodeoTicket.com.
No checks or credit cards will be accepted.
EVENT PROCEDURE AND RULES
1. All cattle to be chute run.
2. Enter once (two head roping)
3. PRCA rules – All Heelers must dally. Age 65 and older may tie on.
4. Roping will be held on WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 2026, AT 5:00 pm SHARP. All teams will rope two
head on WEDNESDAY. Top Ten high teams will rope a third steer during the performance. Five
on Saturday, and Five on Sunday. Average winners are determined by the fastest combined
times of the roping.
5. Each Team Roper will Receive two contestant passes for the Saturday & Sunday Performance.
6. NO CHECKS WILL BE ISSUED AT THE RODEO. ALL PAY-OFF CHECKS WILL BE MAILED ON
MONDAY, MAY 18, 2026
7. The Rowell Ranch Rodeo reserves the right to determine final participation of entries.

ROWELL RANCH RODEO, INC. hereby agree as follows:
Participant will engage in various activities associated with the Rowell Ranch Rodeo and as
consideration therefore agree as follows:
1. The undersigned acknowledges that rodeos are dangerous activities and that the participation
in a rodeo and associated events may expose the participant to substantial and serious risk of
property damage, personal injury or death. The undersigned expressly acknowledges that
his/her participation inI the rodeo or associated activities will involve such a hazard.
2. As a consideration for being allowed to participate, the participant hereby releases the
Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, Rowell Ranch Rodeo, Inc. all directors, servants,
employees, and agents of any and all liability that may directly or indirectly arise out of
participants engaging in any activity associated with the Rowell Ranch Rodeo included but not
limited to participation in the rodeo itself, or any of the associated events sponsored by the
Rowell Ranch Rodeo Association Inc.
3. This release shall extend to all liability, claims, causes of action, or demands, known or
unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, at the time of signing of this agreement. To that end, the
participant expressly waives the provisions of California Civil Code Section 1542, which states:
“A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party
does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the
release and that, if knowingly him or her, would have materially affected his or her
settlement with the debtor or released party.”

6. This Release shall extend to all liability, claims, causes of action, or demands known or
unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, at the time of signing of this agreement. To that end, the

7. Assurances: The undersigned has full power, authority, capacity and right without limitation to
execute, deliver and perform this release.
8. Binding Effect: This Release shall be binding upon the undersigned and the undersigned’s
spouse, legal
representatives, heirs, successors and assigns.
This release has been carefully and fully read by the undersigned and the undersigned fully
understands its terms and conditions and has voluntarily executed and delivered this release as of
